The staff of the Montgomery County Foundation is available to help you articulate your philanthropic ideals, then help you make your vision a reality.

More than 700 non-profit organizations exist throughout Montgomery County. All of them fulfill limitless needs within Montgomery County communities. We will work with you to help you define what makes you passionate, and excites you, and has made an impact on your life!

We will help you transform your wishes into your own mission statement. Once you have established your own mission statement, we can help you determine the type of fund you wish to create to support your vision. Several funds offer many flexible ways for you to make charitable distributions in your lifetime and in perpetuity. These funds can include:

Your gift planning can include gifts that you make today and gifts that you make at a future date.

Gifts that you make today include, gifts of cash, securities and real estate.

Gifts that are made at a later date include bequests, life income gifts, life insurance, IRA and Qualified Retirement Plans.

Bequests
A bequest is a gift of a legacy to the community. You can make a bequest through your will by naming the Foundation as the beneficiary of the legacy.
